Amlat ning Kayariang Kapampangan

(A Historical Account of the Kapampangan Kingdom)

This page contains accounts culled from various historical sources which give some light on the origin of the group of people called Kapampangans who in long ages past came to settle that part of the Philippine archipelago that is now known as the province of Pampanga, although the reaches of the Ancient Kapampangan Kingdom included towns and barrios that now form part of other contiguous provinces. The origins of these ancient people are shrouded in mystery and legends. The accounts in this section bring to light some of these mysteries as these accounts are exerpts from historical records that go as far back as a thousand years ago. These accounts are contributed by members of the Kapampangan-L Discussion and News Group. If you have access to historical accounts pertaining to the Kapampangan people and wish to contribute to this page, please e-mail it to Armando Regala.
