The Long Dark Tea Time of the Soul

This is the subsite dedicated to the rantings and ravings that nobody else will listen to, but you have to. This 'week' the subject is one that contradicts the title of the page. It is Summer, and is entitled:

The Long Light, Hot Tea Time of the Soul.

Well, I find myself sitting down with a burnt back once again. And that shows what? you ask. That shows that it's Summer. Now, there's nothing wrong about Summer, except that here in Malta it's too long. It lasts six months, from May to October. And this Summer is longer. Let me explain my situation. I am at the end of secondary school, and so have finished all things scholastic at the end of May, whereas before I would have finished at the end of June. Also, 6th Form starts in October, whereas before I would have started school in September. That means I have four and a half months of doing. . .what, you ask? That's the beauty of it. NOTHING! Abso-bloomin'-utely nothing! Except swim every now and then. Now I know what all you Scandinavians, Russians, Canadians and Greenlanders are saying. LUCKY BUM! Oh sure. Living in a searing forty degree heat for six months is no fun. Well, I just wanted to let all you workaphobic people know just how lucky you are to have something to do. Oh, how I envy you Scandinavians! As the conclusion of this message I would like to urge you all to stop carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere (stop breathing). There's enough global warming as it is. Well, I'm off to have a hot bath. Ciao!

Well, do you have a rant about something? Is something really bugging you in the proverbial? Want to stick it on the WWW? Send it here to radioshk@mbox.vol.net.mt.
