Tom Interval: Lessons in Sleight-of-Hand Tom Interval has more than 18 years of experience teaching magic to
both children and adults. A former International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM) Pittsburgh Magician of
the Year, Tom has performed thousands of close-up and stand-up magic shows
in the Pittsburgh area and at Busch Gardens theme park in Williamsburg,
Virginia. In addition to training magic-shop employees at Busch Gardens,
he has conducted hundreds of private lessons and has taught magic for Community
College of Allegheny County (CCAC), the Young Men’s Christian Association
(YMCA), and the Jewish Community Center. Tom also has published some of
his sleight-of-hand tricks in MUM (Magic-Unity-Might), the Society of American

The Cuckoo's Nest Magic Class
The Cuckoo's Nest Magic Shop, on Pittsburgh's Historic South Side,
offers magic classes in 5-week sessions in rotation. The current
magic instructor for the class is magician Kevin Hurley. The class
is available for those over the age of 12. Typically, classes are
held on Saturdays. Adult classes in magic are also offered on occasion.
