Released in 1996 as part of Toybiz's second installment of the Generation X line, Marrow quickly became the most difficult figure to find, along with the White Queen. The figure was modeled after her appearance in Generation X #6, and came with removable bones. Today it is the second most valuable of the series after the flesh-legged White Queen variant. Other figures in the series included the Orphan Maker (called the Protector), Mondo, and two variants of Banshee. Marrow's detachable bone accessories were later re-released as accessories in the Cloak and Dagger two-pack.
