X-Men Movie Trading Card Game

Capitalizing on the success of the X-Men movie, Wizards of the Coast Inc. has released a trading card game using Marvel characters both from the movie and from the comics. The object of the game is to be the first person to use his or her team of 3 X-Men to defeat 2 bad guys...before your team is taken out by the other players. Aside from being able to play all of the mutant characters from the movie, you can also play characters like Marrow, Psylocke, Beast, Sinister, and Apocalypse. In addition to the trading cards and play board, the 2 player starter set includes a mini comic book that includes movie sketches of characters that were not in the movie (Marrow is seen to the right). Booster packs are also available in comic stores to increase your core of cards (there are over 100 in all).
