Summary: Our heroes (Carol Danvers, Ben Grimm & Logan are forced to land in Soviet territory. Once they are grounded, the trio must deal with a Russian army convoy and the Black Widow! While Ben & Logan engage in a little "Clobbering Time", Carol sets the self-destruct sequence on the prototype plane and heads inot the woods to destroy the jet's black boxes. Carol is attacked by a pack of hungry wolves while her partners are captured by the Russians! She fends them off and while feeing from the ravenous beasts, comes across an airfield. Opting to try to save the black boxes, she hijacks an observation plane and makes a break for the border.
Meanwhile, the Black Widow stops the American super-jet from exploding using the secret password to halt the destruct sequence. Logan & Ben Grimm are shipped via train to Lubyanka for interrogation. En route, they start a fight aboard their "travel car" and manage to slip out in the confusion. Logan overhears that the secret metal essential to Project: Red Storm is also being trasported to Moscow aboard the train. Logan's secret orders were to retrieve the metal at all costs! Naturally, he drags Ben along as he fights the train's engineer for the precious cargo. Once he has it, the pair head to the roof of the train. As luck would have it, Carol passes by and sees the pair running atop the train! She makes another pass in hopes of saving her erstwhile partners. Meanwhile, in the US of A Nick Fury and Tony Stark begin to realize that the pieces of this puzzle do not fit together!
NOTES: Hmmmm... the Black Widow has the access codes to a US spy-jet? What exactly is going on here? Oh, and if the name Lubyanka looks familiar...it should! Carol spent some time imprisoned there during her spy career and was ultimately rescued by Logan and Michael Rossi! Could this story tie into that?
