Welcome to the Geocities Readers Ring sign up and user utilities page.


This page has three purposes:

• To make information availiable to interested parties.
• To allow people to join the queue.
• To provide a convenient place for ring member utilities.

  This Ring, as you have probably already guessed from the title, is for pages about books or authors, and for people who love to read as much as or more than they love to browse the Net. All pages in this ring will have some sort of book reviews or detailed information about books and authors. If you want to join, the number 1 requirement is that you love to read! Number two is that the page put in the ring is in Geocities. Also, be sure that your page is well designed (Yes, I am arrogant, but I can't stand poorly designed pages), contains detailed information about at least one book or author, and is not offensive to the general populace (I'm sure you can decide what this means). All genres of writing are accepted, from Science Fiction and Fantasy (I believe these will dominate) to classical literature and original writing. If you're not sure whether your site should be in the ring, you should check out the more detailed guidelines. If you know that you want to join the queue, JOIN IT. This in no way obligates you to join the ring. It is only the first step. If your page does not follow all the guidelines or is just not good enough, it will eventually be taken off the queue, but this will in no way affect future attempts to join the ring, once you have improved your page.

So.... What'll it be?
