.Hack//Sign is about a world inside a game. A young boy is inside the game, and can't seem to have the ability to log out. Outside of the game mysteriously somebody went into a coma. They finally figure out that the person "Tsukasa" is a player that was playing the game and suddenly went into a coma, and against all odds stayed trapped inside the game. After he meets a series of characters, and meets a strange young girl who seems to not have the ability to wake up, him and his friends work against all odds to put the pieces of the puzzle together to figure it out.

.Hack//Sign would get a much better score if it wasn't for the horrible ending. It was a great anime series overall though
