Everyone remembers the firsts in their lives
and Skipper De Andrae was the first poodle for my wife and I. Skipper
was a toy size and was mischievious as a boy dog could be.

Skipper's mom was Pixie
De Andrae and his father was Danny's Summer Frost owned by a lady in Mathiston,
Ms. (Up in North Mississippi; near Starkville) We purchased
him in 1976 and he left this early plane in 1989.

PepperMint Lady
Skipper was not the only poodle we purchased from that lady back then
as we purchased a tiny apricot colored female who was between a toy size
and a tea cup size.
We named her PepperMint Lady. She was a little sweetheart who
took up with my wife and bonded with her. Tragically Pepo (our nickname
for her) got out of her pen one night and got run over on a rural road
less than a year after bringing her into our home. There are no pictures
of her. : -(
