Sorry we have been out of touch for so long.  But we are finally in our new space at 25 Broadway-permanently.  Now the art search is on again.
I am still looking for artists who would be interested in "loaning" us some artfor our new space, possibly even on a rotating basis. We do not have a budget for the art in this space, so i'm searching out artists who would be interested in loaning us their art.  You could even post some information for our people to contact you if they are interested in purchasing your work.

Let me know if you are interested.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Art Exhibition
"Within a Year"
Paintings and Drawings by Jackson Brown
Tuesday, February 26th, 2002

Recently recognized in Mixer magazine for his artistic contribution as
resident artist at Bang The Party, "one of New York's most esteemed
house nights," Jackson persists in offering his works within the nightlife
arena. Much like important artists before him such as Keith Haring,
Jackson uses his innate connection to music, nightlife and urban culture
to interact and create, while still referencing the masters.

"My approach to art is a little bit more classical. It's such an 'in'
thing to be an artist, I believe that some painters are swept away by
that and tend to forget that art is a craft that needs to be constantly
cultivated and honed."

"[Currently] I'm using a lot of mixed mediums?aerosol, oils, acrylics
and collage. In terms of style, I would say that my work is still
classical in theme but "Within a Year" represents a body that is more surreal
in terms of thought and color."

As an inventor of forms and innovator of styles, Jackson brilliantly
illustrates classical themes exploring the world as he sees it. Often
referred to as a "new-cubist" Jackson Brown is considered by many to be
one of the best kept secrets of the underground art movement. Jackson is
currently involved in furniture, fashion and industrial design
projects.

On Tuesday, February 26th, 2002 Jackson Brown returns to the nightlife
once again, this time for a special showing of his recent works
entitled "Within a Year," at the house music gathering, Deep See, located at
Idlewild (145 East Houston Street, near Eldridge Street, New York Cityıs
Lower East Side). Starting at 8:00pm, art and music lovers will
converge to absorb Jackson Brownıs visuals to a soundtrack provided by DJs
E-Man and Lola.

Hi,
I am looking for art loans for some new office space my company is taking
over in March.  Do you know any galleries, artists, etc. that would be
interested in having my firm display their artwork?

It would be a loan type of situation.  We would cover all costs and
insuranc
e.

Any thoughts?

Your help would be greatly appreciated!!!

It turns out we are only looking for art pieces that can fit into a
2' x 2' lit box.

IF that is something you would have access to let me know.
